About The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo

Elmo has a new favorite game: he’s hosting a talk show, right from his living room. With Cookie Monster as a sidekick, other Sesame Street pals as backstage crew, and even a house band, Elmo welcomes real-life performers to his couch to entertain kids and families with music, games, and fun for all ages. Jimmy Fallon stops by to show Elmo the hosting ropes, Lil Nas X shares a catchy song, John Mulaney gets competitive in a tricycle race, and much more — all before Elmo’s bedtime!

At a time when personal devices are ever more popular and individual viewing has become the norm, The Not-Too-Late-Show with Elmo brings families together for a shared and uplifting experience that has something for everyone. Young children love seeing their Sesame Street friends in a new way, madcap behind-the-scenes humor keeps older kids laughing, and grown-ups get a kick out of seeing celebrity guests have silly fun with Elmo. Creating a space for gathering, giggling, and simply being together, The Not-Too-Late-Show delights in spreading the loving spirit of the beloved red monster himself.

With each episode highlighting a different element of bedtime, The Not-Too-Late-Show with Elmo supports families’ own evening routines with bedtime-themed games and guest challenges. Children learn best when they’re engaged with a caring adult; by bringing kids and caregivers together at the end of the day, the series encourages co-engagement and helps parents find the social-emotional learning moments in simple routines like putting on pajamas, brushing teeth, and reading a story together. The perfect way to close out a busy day of learning and fun!
