Q: What is Talk, Listen, Connect: Deployments, Homecomings, Changes?

Talk, Listen, Connect: Deployments, Homecomings, Changes is a new Sesame Street bilingual, multimedia outreach program designed to help support military families with children between the ages of 2 and 5 experiencing deployments, multiple deployments or when a parent returns home changed due to a combat related injury. The kit includes three video segments on two DVDs, focusing on deployments, homecomings and changes, featuring the beloved Muppets from Sesame Street combined with live action footage of military families; a special magazine for parents and caregivers; children's activity poster and Muppet postcards.

As an added online supplement, a facilitator guide is available, providing tools to facilitators to share practical and engaging tips and activities to aid families and children as they change and grow.

Q: Are these materials available to members of all branches of the military?

Yes these materials are available to military families with children 3-5 years of age in all of America's Armed Forces, including active duty, Reserve, and National Guard.

Q: When will these kits be distributed?

Beginning April 29, 2008.

Q: Are the materials bilingual?

The materials in the kit are available in English and Spanish.
