Tim Carter

Senior Producer, Sesame Street

Tim Carter has worked on the Sesame Street team for 24 years in a variety of production roles.  Carter’s primary focus at this time is the post-production department, overseeing post operations and budget, signing off on all edits and audio mixes, as well as supervising the overall show layout and airplay for each episode.  Carter has won nine Emmy Awards for his producing and editing work on the show. He has a background in education and previously taught in a school for children with special needs in Queens, NY.
