Staff Sergeant Ramon Padilla

Staff Sergeant Ramon Padilla was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. when he was two years old. He was raised in El Monte, a city just outside of Los Angeles, to this day it is still Padilla.s home of record. After graduating high school, Staff Sergeant Padilla started working for the El Monte Parks & Recreation and at age 21, he became a Police volunteer for the city of El Monte. After struggling to choose a career, he realized what this country had done for him and his family and he decided give back. He joined the U.S. Army and has served eight years. Since joining the Army, he has been stationed at Fort Riley (Kansas), Camp Hovey (Korea), Fort Irwin (California), Iraq, Camp Ederle (Italy) and Afghanistan. Staff Sergeant Padilla has a wife named Judith and four lovely children Monique (15), Melissa (14), Emily (3) and Ramon (2).
