Try this apple activity today to keep the grouchies away!

1. First, let your child paint and decorate a 3-inch flowerpot. (You can use craft glue to apply candy corn as a trim.
2. Have him decorate three apples using the orange instructions from "Orange-O'-Lanterns" as a guide.
3. Fill the flowerpot with garden foam from the craft store to make a steady base, and cover the top with leaves collected outdoors. Then help your child stack the apples, using toothpicks to secure the fruits to each other and to the foam base. Glue a few leaves underneath each apple to complete the fall masterpiece.
