Michelle Obama Supports Sesame Workshop’s Healthy Habits for Life Initiative

First lady Michelle Obama visited Sesame Street Tuesday, May 5^th, to tape a Public Service Announcement with Elmo as part of Sesame Workshop’s Healthy Habits For Life initiative. Mrs. Obama and her pal Elmo talked about eating right, exercising regularly and being a healthy and positive role model for children.

Healthy Habits for Life is a comprehensive, multimedia initiative that uses Sesame Street’s beloved Muppets—and now Michelle Obama—to talk to children and caregivers about healthy living in a fun, practical, and age-appropriate way. The project seeks to establish an early foundation of healthy habits that will better ensure a lifetime of healthy behaviors and happy living.
