NAMM and Sesame Workshop

NAMM is the trade association that leads the global music products industry with the mission to create more active music makers worldwide. The NAMM Foundation advances active participation in music-making throughout people’s lives by supporting scientific research, philanthropic giving, and public service programs such as Sesame Street Music Works. This program, developed in partnership with Sesame Workshop, has helped millions of parents, caregivers, and their young children experience the joy of making music. NAMM and NAMM member outreach efforts have provided Music Works program DVDs (30-minute interactive music programs available in English and Spanish), with an accompanying brochure, to families and early childhood learning centers nationwide. With bilingual videos, DVDs, and print materials for families and caregivers, NAMM is helping children and their parents discover the benefits of making music.
