Sesame Workshop Annual Dinner

Every spring in New York City, Sesame Workshop joins with friends and partners to celebrate its work in creating educational opportunities for children in the United States and around the world. The lively evening showcases the Workshop's current programs and features special Muppet appearances and live entertainment. The generous contributions from individuals and organizations who attend this event benefit Sesame Workshop's domestic and international initiatives.

Past honorees have included Mrs. Laura Bush, United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and his wife, Nane Annan, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan, and UNICEF executive director Ann M. Veneman.
